Tom Brady has had a movie-like career, and there were plenty of characters from his past that appeared on Netflix's special to roast the seven-time Super Bowl champion.
There was Peyton Manning and Drew Bledsoe. There was Kevin Hart and Nikki Glazer. There was Will Ferrell and Ben Affleck. There were former Patriots like Julian Edelman, Randy Moss and Rob Gronkowski, as well as his former coach, Bill Belichick, and the Pats owner Robert Kraft.
And then there was Kim Kardashian. The reality star appeared during the three-hour Netflix roast ready to join in the laughs had at Brady's expense. Instead, she wound up being booed by the audience the moment she walked on stage with champagne glass in hand.

What led to Kardashian being booed? Here's what you need to know.
Why was Kim Kardashian booed?
The audience at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, Calif., did not wait for Kardashian to get fully settled on stage before responding with a chorus of boos. She had just barely started with her roast before the crowd started to rain it down on her.

Kardashian tried her best to quiet the crowd, saying, "All right, all right, all right," as the boos kept coming. Hart could be heard from the stage saying, "Whoa, whoa," as he, too, tried to get the crowd to quiet down.
Before long, the boos quieted and she was able to get on with her speech at the event.

Is Tom Brady dating Kim Kardashian?
There were plenty of rumors after Brady's divorce with Gisele Bundchen that he and Kardashian had started dating. They were both at a Fourth of July party hosted by Michael Rubin, though they "only talked briefly," according to Page Six.
Kardashian addressed the rumors she and Brady dated during the roast and compared him to her former step-parent Caitlyn Jenner, and brought up Kardashian's sex tape.
“Speaking of Tom and I dating, I know there were some rumors that we were and I’d never say if we did or not, I’d just release the tape,” Kardashian said. “But I do know it would never work out. An ex-athlete, high cheek bones, slinky hair—you remind me too much of my stepdad now. Part of me thinks you would want to undress me just to try on my clothes."
She then compared the transition of Jenner, who announced her transition as transgender in 2015, to Brady's retirement in going from star athlete to finding what's next after retirement.
“I know the transition from the NFL must have been really hard, but I think my stepdad is a great example from you," Kardashian said. "She’s one of the greatest athletes in the world who’s proved you can do anything in this next chapter. You can become a commentator, a far-right Republican, or even a strong, confident woman.”
Kardashian also joked that while it was hard to hear the roasts of Brady, she thought enough people in her family have defended former football players, a reference to her father, Robert Kardashian, who represented O.J. Simpson in his murder trial.
Brady had his own dig back at Kardashian, calling out her ex-husband Kanye West.
“I know Kim was terrified to be here tonight. Not because of this, but because her kids are at home with their dad,” Brady said.
