FX's new "American Sports Story" series is set to premiere on Tuesday, with the first season telling the story about the rise and fall of former NFL tight end Aaron Hernandez.
Hernandez, who was arrested in 2013, found guilty for first-degree murder in 2015 and died by suicide while in prison in 2017, will be portrayed by Josh Andres Rivera in the series.
The first season of the show will follow the transition from Hernandez's football career to his murder conviction over 10 episodes. While Rivera's character will be the main role, there's a number of familiar football figures that will also be portrayed in the series.
Former Florida head coach Urban Meyer will be played by Tony Yazbeck, and Patriots owner Robert Kraft will be played by Jerry Levine.
Tim Tebow, Hernandez's quarterback while playing college football at Florida, will also be portrayed in the series — and by an actor that some may recognize.
Here's what to know about the actor playing Tebow in FX's show about Hernandez, his previous roles and his connection to another famous figure.

Who plays Tim Tebow in the new Aaron Hernandez show?
Tebow will be portrayed by Patrick Schwarzenegger in "American Sports Story."
Before being drafted into the NFL, Tebow won two national championships with the Gators. Hernandez was on the 2008 Florida team that won a title alongside Tebow.
In the show, Schwarzenneger's Tebow character will likely appear most in episodes centered around Hernandez's time with the Gators. Both Tebow and Hernandez were later drafted to the NFL, but were only teammates in the league for a brief period when Tebow joined the Patriots' practice squad in 2013.
Schwarzenneger, 30 years old, has also appeared in some shows and movies people may be familiar with.
