Dell was drafted in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft. It's fitting that he landed with the Texans since they likely got a good look at him while he played his college ball at Houston. As a rookie, Dell played in 11 games and had his season ended early after fracturing his leg in Week 13. He finished with 709 yards and seven touchdowns on 47 receptions.
Dell had successful surgery and focused on preparing for the 2024 season. In April, however, a wrench was thrown into his offseason plans. We recap what happened to the Houston wide receiver.

Dell was shot in the leg, but it doesn't sound like he needed to undergo any major surgical procedures for it in his recovery. He was able to return to practice three weeks later with no limitations. A healthy Dell gives Houston one of the better wide receiving corps in the NFL alongside Stefon Diggs and Collins.
