American football is heading back to the United Kingdom.

The NFL has played 33 regular-season games in London, and will add three more to its tally in 2023. Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will host a pair of games, while Wembley Stadium will host another clash.

In recent years, the product across the pond has improved. Three playoff teams came to the U.K. in 2022, with the Vikings, Giants and Jaguars all playing games there. The first 2022 game was a narrow 28-25 win by the Vikings against the Saints on a last-minute field goal. Next, the Giants pulled off a fourth-quarter comeback against the Packers to win 27-22. And the Broncos and Russell Wilson narrowly edged Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars 21-17.

Who will be playing NFL games in London in 2023? Here's a rundown of the United Kingdom's NFL games.

NFL London schedule 2023

Date Stadium Time (BST) Matchup
Oct. 1 Wembley Stadium 14:30 Falcons vs. Jaguars
Oct. 8 Tottenham Hotspur Stadium 14:30 Jaguars vs. Bills
Oct. 15 Tottenham Hotspur Stadium 14:30 Ravens vs. Titans

Atlanta Falcons vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jaguars are regulars in London at this point, with each of the past nine NFL London features including Jacksonville as one of the teams. The Jaguars are considered the only true home team of the six teams in London this year. In the nine games, Jacksonville has gone a collective 4-5, including a 3-3 record at Wembley.

To begin their 2023 London tour, the Jaguars will face the Falcons, who come into the season having revamped the defense. Atlanta signed safety Jessie Bates and defensive lineman Calais Campbell to join a defense that already featured standouts like Kaden Elliss and A.J. Terrell. The Falcons have played in London twice, losing first to the Lions in 2014 before beating the Jets in 2021.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Buffalo Bills

The Bills will be making their second appearance in London. They previously faced the Jaguars in 2015. Jacksonville won the game 34-31. Buffalo is a perennial Super Bowl contender, and features one of the most complete teams in the NFL, led by quarterback Josh Allen and star receiver Stefon Diggs.

Their second trip to London will look a bit like the first as the Bills are lined up to face the Jaguars. However, instead of two teams likely to miss the playoffs as it was in 2015, these two teams both look like legitimate contenders. Allen and Jacksonville's Trevor Lawrence are two of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, and their London showdown could be a potential playoff preview.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Tennessee Titans

Derrick Henry and the Titans will be returning to London. Tennessee played against the Chargers at Wembley in 2018. Two straight two-point conversion attempts from Marcus Mariota fell incomplete as the Titans fell 20-19. The Titans could be entering a potential rebuild in 2023 after drafting Kentucky quarterback Will Levis No. 33 overall, giving the team an heir apparent at QB to Ryan Tannehill, who is in the final year of his contract.

London NFL fans are already getting to see Lawrence twice and Allen once. In the final game, they will see another of the league's elite quarterbacks with Lamar Jackson leading the Ravens. Jackson signed a five-year extension to end a tumultuous timeline of negotiations and now has what might be his best supporting cast since being drafted, with the team drafting Zay Flowers and signing Odell Beckham Jr. to revamp the wide receiver room.
