Manningcast guest list Week 15: Here's who will join Peyton, Eli Manning on 'Monday Night Football' image

The Rams and Packers are squaring off in the most shockingly disappointing primetime matchup of the season. With the Rams sitting at 4-9 and the Packers at 5-8, both of these teams -- thought in the preseason to be likely NFC forces -- have struggled to find their footing this year.

For the Rams, the situation is even worse. The defending Super Bowl champions have been decimated by injuries, with Matthew Stafford likely out for the year and Cooper Kupp missing significant time. Running back has also been a pain point, which has resulted in the Rams coming into this game 31st in the NFL in yards per game.

LIVE: Rams vs. Packers on 'Monday Night Football'

The thing about potentially bad football is that it is ripe for a simulcast. Peyton and Eli Manning will be back for a Manningcast on this game, and they're likely to have a lot to nitpick. Furthermore, the Packers are fighting for their playoff lives, so there could be some entertaining commentary on that as well.

The Manningcast will also have some fun guests on it, including the NFC West-leading 49ers' tight end George Kittle. A celebrity Packers fan will be on the broadcast as the final guest as well.

Manningcast guests for Week 15

  • George Kittle, 49ers TE
  • DeMarcus Ware & Ray Lewis, former linebackers
  • Lil Wayne, rapper

George Kittle

The 49ers just clinched the NFC West this week with Thursday's win over the Seahawks, so George Kittle can rest his bones a bit. The tight end was on Amazon's broadcast praising Brock Purdy after that game, and now he's going to watch an NFC bout between two team the 49ers are unlikely to see in the postseason.

Kittle will probably keep things light on the broadcast and not go too far down bashing either of these teams. But he and the 49ers have history with both of them, so maybe he'll slip up and have some fun at their expense anyways.

DeMarcus Ware & Ray Lewis

This should be a bit of a Pro Bowl preview of sorts, with the Manning brothers set to coach in the Pro Bowl. Ware and Lewis are on their Pro Bowl staffs, so their joint appearance shouldn't really surprise anyone.

Lewis is already in the Hall of Fame and Ware could well be on his way to Canton, but Peyton and Lewis might crack on Eli and Ware about that. Either way, this will probably be the most "natural" part of the broadcast since everyone on won't necessarily have rooting interests.

Lil Wayne

Lil Wayne loves the Packers, he's been a huge cheesehead for a long time. The rapper will be the final guest on the show, and he might have some explaining to do.

Lil Wayne tweeted in November the Packers should have moved on from Rodgers prior to the season. If Peyton and Eli want to be confrontational, this would be the way to do it.

"Monday Night Football" games featuring the Manning brothers are denoted with an asterisk. The Rams vs. Packers Manningcast will be the third of December and the last of the regular season.
