In a fun night of the Manningcast, Lil Wayne was the icing as the final guest.
The Hollygrove-raised rapper, who is a huge Packers fan, got to be on for part of Green Bay's win over the Rams, and his relaxed personality was a perfect fit for Peyton and Eli. Peyton tested that relaxed persona when he showed a video of Eli rapping, and it seemed like Lil Wayne needed a moment to collect himself.
"Ugh," he started, as Peyton apologized. "First of all, when I saw that, I just saw a picture of that first. When I saw the picture I was like 'wait, is this really how Eli dress, this how he dress on his off-time for real?"
As for Eli's rap, however, he recuperated to say: "You killed it."

Eli has been part of a few rap spoof videos, so he's no stranger to trying to land that flow. Despite Wayne being nice, it seemed like he had some feelings about Eli's attempt.

Lil Wayne also dissolved into laughter when he talked about the Saints' Super Bowl win he took his mom to after Eli asked who the Saints beat in that game (hint: their quarterback was on the broadcast).
Watch the clip and you can see the moment Eli knows he's going to ask.

"I was trying not to bring that part up," Wayne said.

Lil Wayne has always loved sports. He's been on ESPN First Take multiple times, and it's hard to think of a rapper who incorporates more sports references in his lyrics. That and his light, easy attitude made his Manningcast appearance a fun one. Peyton and Eli ribbing each other is par for the course, but that doesn't hurt either.
