The Raiders are trying to grind out a win against the Vikings, but they may have to do it without their top running back.

Josh Jacobs left the game midway through the fourth quarter after suffering a knee injury. It isn't clear exactly when Jacobs suffered the injury, but he went to the blue medical tent on the sideline to be examined.

Eventually, Jacobs came out of the tent and headed to the locker room. The broadcast showed him exiting the field with a noticeable limp.

Josh Jacobs injury update

The Raiders announced shortly thereafter that Jacobs was questionable to return because of a knee injury. The score was knotted at zero at the time of his exit, so his "questionable" status was notable.

Jacobs totaled 34 yards on 13 carries before he exited the game. He had handled a majority of the rushing workload, with Ameer Abdullah and Zamir White being mixed in sparingly.

White will likely serve as the main between-the-tackles back for however long Jacobs remains out. Meanwhile, Abdullah will serve as a pass-catching specialist, as he often has during his nine-year NFL career.

The Raiders also have veteran Brandon Bolden on their 53-man roster at the running back position. He He largely plays on special teams, but he could see some snaps on offense if the Raiders suffer an additional injuries at the running back position.
