The Bills were always going to be in for a tough fight on the road against one of the AFC's most dangerous teams, but Sunday was a complete deviation from the team's first three weeks of the season.
Buffalo suffered a 35-10 drubbing at the hands of the Ravens, falling behind after an 87-yard Derrick Henry touchdown in the first half and never recovering quite enough to seriously put a scare into Baltimore.
The Bills had a chance to cut the deficit to one possession at one point in the third quarter, but that opportunity evaporated in an instant when Josh Allen fumbled and the Ravens' offense cashed it on for a touchdown in a massive momentum swing.
By the time the Bills' offense took the field for the final time, Allen was on the bench.
Here's what you need to know about Allen's status after he sat out the end of Sunday night's game.

Did Josh Allen get hurt vs. Ravens?
Allen did not exit Sunday's game due to injury. Bills coach Sean McDermott instead opted to pull his quarterback with the game out of reach.
Buffalo was down 35-10 by the time McDermott took Allen out of the game in favor of Mitchell Trubisky, and knowing Allen's value to the entire team, it's tough to blame him. The Bills had no chance of making up that kind of deficit, and Allen doesn't necessarily need any more reps to get ready for a big showdown with the Texans in Week 5.

With that being said, Allen might be feeling the effects of a hard hit from Ravens DT Travis Jones when he wakes up on Monday. Jones smashed into Allen just after the fumble that was recovered by Baltimore, and the Bills QB was slow to get up.
An INCREDIBLE play by Kyle Van Noy

Allen didn't miss a snap, but the NBC broadcast noted he uncharacteristically threw a few warmup passes before Buffalo's next drive.
The hit didn't seem to affect Allen on the field, and the Bills QB already played through a minor injury to his non-throwing hand suffered in Week 1. Allen hasn't missed a start since his rookie season, and there is no indication that streak has any chance of ending in Week 5.
