The Packers inked star quarterback Jordan Love to a mammoth four-year, $220 million extension over the summer, making him one of the league's highest-paid hurlers and cementing his status as the franchise's leading light in the years to come.
The end of Green Bay's Friday night clash against the Eagles will be of great concern to the Packers front office, then.
With six seconds left in the contest and Philadelphia clinging to a five-point advantage, Love crumbled to the ground after appearing to get his leg caught in the grasp of an opposition defender. He stayed on the ground for an extended period of time, prompting Green Bay's medical personnel to stream onto the field and tend to his injury.

Jordan Love injury update
Testing revealed a sprained MCL in Love's left knee, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport. The report supports initial news that Love's ACL is intact.
A timeline for rehab and recovery is dependent on the severity of Love's MCL sprain.
After the hit, Love was helped to the sideline, appearing to limp heavily as he made his way off the field. The 25-year-old was replaced by newly-acquired backup Malik Willis, who proceeded to surrender a sack on the final play of the game.
Love appeared to move gingerly as he stood on the sideline. He also appeared to favor his right side, with an injury seemingly affecting his left leg.

As players flooded the field after the final whistle to exchange pleasantries, Love remained tethered to the bench. Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts made his way over to his fellow 2020 draft alum to offer some well wishes.
