The Eagles got battered and bruised in their Week 2 preseason contest against the Browns, as a total of six players left Thursday's game with an injury.
Wide receiver Tyrie Cleveland and rookie defensive lineman Moro Ojomo had the two scariest incidents. Both were stretchered off the field after sustaining neck injuries.
"Your heart goes out to them first and foremost, and you just think about your teammate," Eagles quarterback Marcus Mariota said. "We play a game and it's a blessing to play a game, but when these situations get like that, it is scary."
Linebacker Nolan Smith, the No. 30 overall pick in 2023, left the game with a shoulder injury. Additionally, cornerback Zech McPhearson, wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus and offensive lineman Josh Andrews all were hurt during the contest. McPhearson has been ruled out for the season with a torn Achilles.

Here are the latest injury updates on Cleveland, Ojomo and Smith after leaving the Eagles game vs. the Browns.

Tyrie Cleveland
In the third quarter, Cleveland went up to get a pass thrown by QB Tanner McKee. When he landed, he came down hard on his head/neck area and remained down on the field.
He eventually had to be carted off the field.

He was ruled out of the game, however, the Eagles did report that he had movement and feelings in all of his extremities, a good sign regarding the possible injury.
Before suffering the injury on Thursday night, Cleveland had one catch for four yards on three targets.
Moro Ojomo
A second stretcher and stabilizer had to be used later in the second half, as Ojomo was hit in the head/neck area on a play by his own teammate.
He also stayed down on the field and was stretchered off.
Again a stretcher and stabilizer. If you wondered why starters don’t play the preseason this is why. Prayers up for Moro Ojomo pic.twitter.com/aVsSqQB0n5

Like Cleveland, Ojomo was ruled out of the game with a neck injury, but the Eagles reported that he had movement in all of his extremities as well.
Ojomo had three tackles and a QB hit before leaving the preseason contest.
Nolan Smith
Smith also left the preseason game against the Browns with a shoulder injury.
The rookie linebacker out of Georgia said after the game that his shoulder was "good" and he was removed from the game out of "precaution."

"I’m feeling good," Smith said. "I know everybody worrying about my shoulder injury. They just took me out for precaution reasons. It's still getting loosened up."
Smith exited the game after recording a single tackle.
