DeVonta Smith may have entered the Naughty List with his touchdown celebration against the Cowboys on Saturday.
Following a 9-yard touchdown from Gardner Minshew to make the score 34-27 — Smith's second touchdown reception of the night — the second-year receiver made use of the NFL's Salvation Army kettle. Instead of jumping in it or even playing whack-a-mole, Smith had a wonderful, awful idea straight out of the Grinch's playbook:
They've been practicing this one 🤣

It's not often that celebrations are Christmas-themed, so kudos to Smith and Co. for making the most of the opportunity to take a different approach to utilizing the Salvation Army kettle. Extra points for fake-kicking in an imaginary door, as well as getting a conveyor system going.
Of course, this isn't the first time the kettle has been a part of players' celebrations. The Cowboys were recently fined for playing whack-a-mole in it, and running back Ezekiel Elliott even donated himself to it one time.
No word on whether the NFL will fine Smith and Co. for the celebration, but it was a fun celebration following the touchdown grab. With that, Smith had six catches for 68 yards. The celebration also elicited quite the reaction from social media:
Devonta Smith doing “The Favre” after that touchdown was crazy

the Salvation Army is a hate group and the money they take should go to better causes
