Davante Adams played almost all of the Raiders' blowout loss against the Bills, but Las Vegas is probably wishing that it had pulled him.

Why? Because Adams appeared to suffer a head injury late in the contest.

The injury occurred late in the fourth quarter with the Bills leading 38-10. Raiders quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo was still in nonetheless, and he threw up a desperation heave to Adams down the field.

Adams was double-covered on the play and couldn't catch it. Then, Bills safety Taylor Rapp came screaming across the field and hit the veteran receiver hard in the helmet. He was whistled for a 15-yard unnecessary roughness penalty because of it.

Adams was, surprisingly, able to get up after the hit. Even so, he was ushered off the field and into the blue medical tent, presumably to be evaluated for a concussion.

He later walked into the locker room, which effectively ended his day with just a couple of minutes remaining in the contest.

Adams recorded six catches for 84 yards and the Raiders' lone touchdown of the day against the Bills before exiting.

Davante Adams injury updates

The Raiders announced after the game that Adams was, in fact, being evaluated for a concussion.

However, the Raiders got some good news on Monday when coach Josh McDaniels announced that Adams was "good" after the big hit, per ESPN's Field Yates.

That should bode well for Adams' chances of being available for Las Vegas' "Sunday Night Football" matchup against the Raiders, though his status ahead of that game will bear monitoring.

Adams was the second Raiders receiver to be knocked out of a game late as a part of the NFL's concussion protocol in the first two weeks of the season. Jakobi Meyers was the other, as he was injured at the end of the Raiders' Week 1 win over the Broncos.

McDaniels mentioned that Meyers is "headed in the right direction" in his recovery, so he may have a chance to play in Week 3 as well.

This story will be updated with new information as it becomes available.
