The Rams' wide receiver room is already riddled with injuries.
Los Angeles lost second-year wide receiver Puka Nacua to a PCL sprain in Week 1, placing him on the IR with an anticipated return around Week 9, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.
That should have opened the door for Cooper Kupp to return to his All-Pro potential, but he also suffered an injury in the Rams' Week 2 loss to the Cardinals.

Cooper Kupp injury update
Kupp came off the field limping toward the end of the first half. He was on the sideline for a couple of plays but then re-entered the game on the final play before halftime.
While it was assumed that this meant that he was good to go, he either was more injured than previously thought or may have aggravated the injury.
Kupp did not return to the game, but the Rams were already down by multiple scores.
He was later diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain. Head coach Sean McVay said Kupp is expected to miss "an extended period of time" and could land on the IR.

September 29 Update
Kupp's injury, which occurred in Week 4 of the NFL season, has kept him sidelined since. NFL analyst Jay Glazer said he will be out for at least the next two weeks, with a potential return in mid-October. The Los Angeles wide receiver has still not been added to IR.
September 30 update
McVay said Monday that Kupp will officially miss the Rams' Week 5 matchup against the Packers. After he avoided a stint on IR, Kupp could potentially return in Week 7 vs. the Raiders, as Los Angeles has a bye in Week 6.
How long is Cooper Kupp out?
Although McVay originally said Kupp was a candidate for the IR, that is no longer the plan.
"There are currently no plans to place WR Cooper Kupp on injured reserve," ESPN's Schefter tweeted Wednesday.
That means the Rams believe Kupp should be able to return in the coming weeks, considering the IR would have kept him out for four games minimum.
Kupp will not play Sunday against the Packers, but has a better chance at returning after the Rams' bye in Week 6.
