The Meadowlands are feeling the Taylor Swift effect.
The famous singer-songwriter was spotted at Arrowhead Stadium last week after accepting Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce's invitation to watch him "ball out." It set social media ablaze, as the dating rumors between the two continued to heat up, especially after the pair were seen after the game leaving the stadium.
This week, Kelce and Co. are traveling to East Rutherford as the Jets host the Chiefs in a Week 4 matchup — and there is a special guest expected to be in attendance yet again.
Swift is reportedly going to be at the game, supporting her love interest yet again. The 33-year-old is currently on a break from The Eras Tour, which won't pick up again Oct. 18 in Miami, giving her ample opportunity to watch Kelce do what he does best.
As a result of her reported upcoming presence at MetLife Stadium, the ticket prices for the game have surged, as Swifties in the Tri-State Area are scrambling to get tickets. It may not necessarily be to watch the action on the gridiron, but instead, potentially to see their favorite musical artist in person.
It's no surprise that Swift has a prominent following in the New York area. This won't be her first time at MetLife this year, as she previously performed three shows over Memorial Day weekend. She sold out every single night, breaking the stadium's attendance record with a three-night audience of 217,625.
