Chris Jones is expected to be one of the most sought-after free agents this NFL offseason. But he doesn't appear to have any interest in playing anywhere outside of Kansas City.

The Chiefs' star defensive tackle told fans that he plans on coming back to try and make it a three-peat during an impassioned speech at Wednesday's Super Bowl parade.

"We ain’t done yet. We ain’t done yet. Kansas City, we will be back here next year. And for those who want Chris Jones, I ain’t going nowhere baby," Jones said. "I will be here this year, next year, and the year after.

"Three-peat. Three-peat. Three-peat. Three-peat. Three-peat. That’s all I want to hear from this city, baby."

Jones entered the 2023 season in the final year of his contract with the Chiefs and began the season by holding out as he awaited an extension. He missed the season opener against the Lions but inked a new one-year contract on Sept. 11 and returned to the team in time for the next game.

The standout defensive tackle will be heading into his age 30 season and is expected to command a large salary as arguably the top defensive player on the market. His 2023 contract included a base salary of $18.4 million, with more than $6 million in incentives.

Jones, along with top corner L'Jarius Sneed, expect to be the focal points of Kansas City's offseason decisions.

“Kansas City. Hey. Everything we did this year was because of you guys, man," Jones said. "From the love, the support, all year-long, for those who doubted us. For those who considered us underdogs. We did it for you, baby. KC, we are back again to be world champions, baby."
