The Jacksonville Jaguars are taking on the Green Bay Packers in a non-conference game in Week 8 of the NFL season. The Jaguars have been dealing with injuries on offense all season, and that has continued this week.
Early in the game, Gabe Davis was forced from the field with an injury. It looked like he suffered a wrist injury, but it was eventually announced as a shoulder injury. Brian Thomas Jr. caught a touchdown earlier in the game, but has remained on the sideline with a chest injury. Christian Kirk then went up for a reception in the second half but landed directly on his left shoulder with a defender on top of him.
Kirk's name has been swirling around trade rumors for Jacksonville. Here are the latest injury updates for the Jaguars' receiver.

Christian Kirk injury updates
Kirk looked to be in serious pain when he hit the ground. He instantly grabbed at his shoulder and there is no telling yet how bad the injury is. It could be a broken collarbone, or maybe just a bruised shoulder.
Kirk was ruled out nearly instantly after coming to the sideline. The Jacksonville wide receiver corps is getting depleted by the minute against Green Bay.
Kirk was evaluated after the game, and it has been determined that he broke his collarbone. His season is over.

Christian Kirk trade rumors
With Davante Adams, Amari Cooper and DeAndre Hopkins changing teams, Kirk is one of the biggest names left on the trade market. He was expected to be a popular target before the trade deadline if he stays healthy.
Can injured players be traded?
Technically, yes, but it doesn't happen often. Physicals are usually a requirement of trades to be completed. Sometimes, injured players can be moved, but at a greatly reduced cost. Jacksonville would need help finding a suitor for Kirk, given his contract, and an injury would likely tank Kirk's possible trade value.
