The fallout from Michigan State's one-sided brawl with Michigan in the tunnel after Saturday night's game is continuing with more player suspensions.
After the program announced Sunday that four players were suspended as a result of the incident, Michigan State suspended four additional players on Tuesday to bring the total to eight.

Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh labeled the incident "assault" and later said he "can't imagine that this will not result in criminal charges."
Jim Harbaugh: "Two of our players were assaulted. You saw the one video, the 10 on 1. Pretty bad." Says one player has a nasal injury, possibly a broken nose. AD Warde Manuel will address with the authorities, Harbaugh says.

Windmon, Grose, and Wright are all starters on the Spartans' defense.

Michigan State 2022 record
It's been a difficult season for Michigan State on the field as well as off of it. The Spartans were one of the nation's best stories in 2021, finishing 11-2 with a Peach Bowl win, but they're just 3-5 in 2022 and have lost five of their last six.
The Spartans will need to finish at least 3-1 over their next four games to be bowl-eligible, and they'll now have to do it without a handful of contributors. Michigan State faces No. 14 Illinois on Saturday.
