The Golden State Warriors will be without head coach Steve Kerr for Game 4 against the Memphis Grizzlies.
According to multiple reports, Kerr has tested positive for COVID-19 and will enter the league's health and safety protocols ahead of Monday's contest.
As The Athletic's Anthony Slater noted, Kerr had been "masked up the last few days, indicating some level of concern." He also mentioned that Kerr's voice had been hoarse in his last few press conferences, leading to Monday's positive test.
Who will replace Steve Kerr as Warriors' interim head coach?
With Kerr out for Game 4 – and possibly longer – the Warriors have anointed assistant coach Mike Brown as interim head coach.

Brown's nod as the interim head coach was ironic, given he was just announced as head coach of the Sacramento Kings earlier on Monday.

It was already determined that Brown would finish out the postseason with Golden State before he takes the reigns in Sacramento next season.

This isn't the first time that Brown has had to fill in for Kerr during the postseason – the veteran coach also took over the interim role during the 2017 NBA Playoffs. When Kerr was dealing with a painful back injury, Brown led the Warriors to a 12-0 record in the postseason before they went on to win the NBA title.
Brown will look to lead the Warriors to a series-altering win over the Grizzlies in Game 4 to take a 3-1 lead.
