As it begins its preparations for the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup, the United States Men's National Basketball Team has finalized its roster.
After a seventh-place finish in the 2019 World Cup, Team USA is looking to bounce back and dethrone the defending champion Spanish National Team. Team USA will look toward the next generation of NBA players to do so.

20-year-old reigning NBA Rookie of the Year Paolo Banchero headlines a list of players that also includes 21-year-old Anthony Edwards and 23-year-old Tyrese Haliburton — two members of the 2020 NBA Draft class who became first-time All-Stars in 2023.
The team will begin its training camp on Aug. 3 in Las Vegas with an exhibition game against Puerto Rico scheduled for Aug. 7. They will be led by Warriors head coach Steve Kerr, who takes over for Gregg Popovich.

The 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup begins with the Group Phase on Aug. 25, 2023. The Final Phase, or elimination round, begins on Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2023, with the championship game set for Sunday, Sept. 10 at 8:40 a.m. ET.

The United States Men's National Team will participate in Group C and will play each game of the Group Phase at the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila. Group C consists of the United States, Jordan, and Greece.
