Stephen Curry or Sabrina Ionescu?

That's the hot-button question heading into 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis as two of the best shooters on the planet get set to square off on the main stage at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Curry's resume speaks for itself as the NBA's all-time leading 3-point shooter, knocking down a record-shattering 3,631 triples and counting in his career. He has led the league in 3s made seven times and is the only player in NBA history to knock down 400 triples in a single season.

Ionescu just broke the WNBA's record for most 3-pointers made in a season last year, doing so at an incredibly efficient 44.8 percent clip. Her historic 3-Point Contest at the 2023 WNBA All-Star Weekend — scoring 37 out of 40 possible points with just two misses and a streak of 20 consecutive makes — is what sparked this competition in the first place.

The real ones know Ionescu has a good shot to beat Curry, even if she shoots from the NBA 3-point line. Which NBA players are siding with Sabrina and which NBA players are siding with Steph?

The Sporting News takes a tally below.

NBA players make predictions for Stephen Curry vs. Sabrina Ionescu

Kevin Durant changes answers three times, takes Stephen Curry

Durant originally chose Curry, then Curry jokingly called him out for being an "instigator," so he switched to Ionescu.

When asked for his answer once and for all, Durant went with his former Warriors teammate.

"I'm going Steph," Durant said. "I said Steph first, then Steph kinda, like, disrespected me and called me an instigator, so I went Sabrina. But I'm going back to Steph. You know how I like to switch."

Kyrie Irving takes Sabrina Ionescu

Irving gave his flowers to Curry but made sure to let the people know that Ionescu is currently sitting on the throne after her performance in the WNBA 3-Point Contest over the summer.

"I'm pulling for Sabrina," Irving said. "No disrespect to you, Steph. I love you, big bro. But, at the same time, [Sabrina] got the record, man. She's coming to defend her title. You're coming to the competitive table to see if you can win. It's gon' be interesting."

Draymond Green takes Stephen Curry

Green didn't even hesitate when asked who he was riding with.

"I got Steph! The greatest ever for a reason," Green stated confidently. "You get to see the best of both worlds. Steph is the greatest ever. Obviously, Sabrina's doing what she's doing. We also saw the 3-Point Contest last year when she broke all the records.

"It's definitely something to be excited about, but of course Steph is winning."

Klay Thompson takes Sabrina Ionescu

Thompson played devil's advocate, teasing his answer before going against his teammate and taking Sabrina.

"I got the Bay Area's finest... Sabrina all day!" Thompson said with a mean mug. "She set a record last year. I think she missed one [3-point shot]."

When asked if she was better than Steph, Klay said, "Yeah, oh yeah. All day."

Giannis Antetokounmpo takes Sabina Ionescu

Antetokounmpo is very aware of what Curry is capable of doing on the basketball court but he's going with his fellow Nike signature athlete in Ionescu.

“I put all my money on Sabrina," Antetokounpo told Boardroom's Nick DePaula. The plot thickens.

Running tally: Sabrina Ionescu 3, Stephen Curry 2

Ahead of All-Star Saturday Night, we're standing in with a tie between the two sharpshooters.

Whichever NBA players make their prediction next will break the stalemate.
