With Devin Booker sidelined with a hamstring injury, Chris Paul stepped up once again to put the Suns in control of their first-round series.
Paul was masterful in the fourth quarter of Game 3, scoring 19 points in the final frame, and finishing with 28 points, 14 assists and zero turnovers.

The Suns' depth proved too much in Game 3 as Deandre Ayton added 28 points and 17 rebounds, while Mikal Bridges had 17 and Javale McGee chipped in 15 points off the bench.
Brandon Ingram (34 points) and CJ McCollum (30 points) both turned in solid nights on the offensive end, but the Pelicans failed to capitalize on an off-shooting night from the Suns, who managed just 15.4 percent (4-of-26) from the 3-point line.
With Booker (hamstring) remaining on the sidelines, the Pelicans should be confident in their ability to level the series, but they'll need to find an answer to slowing down Paul, who has torched them in two games already this series.
