Let the NBA trade deadline madness begin.

Trade season is already underway, kicking off over the weekend with a blockbuster deal that sent the NBA world into a frenzy.

The Mavericks made a major move to acquire All-Star guard Kyrie Irving from the Nets, pairing Luka Doncic with another one of the most prolific scorers in the NBA.

Irving was the first domino to fall in what is expected to be a chaotic trade deadline with several teams trying to add pieces to make a championship push.

With the trade deadline set for Thursday, Feb. 9 at 3 p.m. ET, take a look at some of the latest rumors from the NBA's trade newswire.

Warriors interested in Saddiq Bey

Date: Feb. 9

According to Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports, the Warriors and Pistons are "in conversations" to trade Saddiq Bey, adding Golden State has shown "an increased willingness" to move James Wiseman, with Detroit holding an interest in the big man.

Omari Sankofa II from the Detroit Free Press reported that it "sounds like it's far from a done deal."

Kevin Durant is headed to Suns in blockbuster trade

Date: Feb. 9

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Durant and TJ Warren are headed to Phoenix for Mikal Bridges, Jae Crowder, Cam Johnson, four first-round picks and a first-round pick swap.

The four first-round picks — in 2023, 2025, 2027 and 2029 — are all unprotected.

According to Wojnarowski, the Nets are expected to "explore trade scenarios" for Crowder ahead of the 3 p.m. deadline.

John Wall is on his way out of Los Angeles — one way or another

Date: Feb. 8

NBA insider Marc Stein reported that the Clippers are trying to trade Wall, but if a deal does not materialize before the deadline, they are expected to buy him out.

Wall has been sidelined since mid-January with an abdominal injury. He is averaging 11.4 points and 5.2 assists in 34 games this season.

Knicks acquire Josh Hart in trade with Trail Blazers

Date: Feb. 8

Hart is on his way to "The Big Apple." The Knicks acquired the 27-year-old wing in a deal with the Trail Blazers, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

New York will send Cam Reddish, Ryan Arcidiacono, Svi Mykhailiuk and a protected first-round pick to Portland, per Wojnarowski.

Lakers send Russell Westbrook to Jazz in three-team deal

Date: Feb. 8

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Westbrook is headed to the Jazz in a blockbuster three-team trade that includes the Timberwolves.

The Lakers will receive D'Angelo Russell, Malik Beasley and Jarred Vanderbilt. The Jazz will receive Russell Westbrook, Juan Toscano-Anderson, Damian Jones and the Lakers' 2027 first-round pick (top-four protected). The Timberwolves will receive Mike Conley Jr., Nickeil Alexander-Walker and three second-round picks.

Westbrook is expected to be bought out by the Jazz, per Bleacher Report's Chris Haynes.

Raptors and Spurs discussing scenarios that would return Jakob Poeltl to Toronto

Date: Feb. 8

The Raptors are expected to be major players at the trade deadline, but it appears they may not only be operating as sellers.

NBA insider Marc Stein reported on Wednesday that the Raptors and Spurs "continue to discuss trade scenarios that would land in-demand big man Jakob Poeltl back with Toronto."

The Raptors selected Poeltl with the No. 9 overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft. Poeltl played two seasons in Toronto before he was sent to San Antonio in the deal that brought Kawhi Leonard to the Raptors back in 2018.

The Lakers are in discussions to send Russell Westbrook to Utah in three-team trade

Date: Feb. 8

According to The Athletic's Shams Charania and Tony Jones, the Lakers, Jazz and Timberwolves are in discussions on a three-team deal that would send Russell Westbrook to Utah.

The Lakers would potentially land D'Angelo Russell, Malik Beasley and Jarred Vanderbilt, the Jazz would receive Westbrook and draft picks, and the Timberwolves would receive veteran guard Mike Conley Jr.

Bulls have shown "little interest" in moving Zach LaVine

Date: Feb. 6

The Bulls were once seen as a potential seller at the deadline after a slow start to the season, but the team has improved as of late. Chicago has gone 9-6 in its last 15 games and as players start to get healthy, it appears its front office is less likely to trade key pieces at the deadline.

According to ESPN's Jamal Collier, rival executives have said, "the Bulls have shown little interest in moving (LaVine) at the deadline," despite the Knicks, Lakers and Mavericks all showing interest in the All-Star guard.

Lakers moving on to "Plan B options" after missing out on Irving

Date: Feb. 6

Even though the Lakers didn't land Irving, they're still expected to be active on the trade market. According to The Athletic's Jovan Buha, the Raptors and Jazz have "repeatedly popped up as Plan B options for the Lakers" following the Irving-to-Dallas deal.

He mentioned Fred VanVleet and Gary Trent Jr. as potential options from the Raptors and Mike Conley Jr., Malik Beasley and Jarred Vanderbilt as potential options from Utah.

He also noted the Hornets, Spurs and Bulls as "three other teams to watch."

Kyrie Irving is headed to Dallas

Date: Feb. 5

The first big move has been made. As first reported by The Athletic's Shams Charania, the Mavericks have acquired Irving and Markieff Morris from the Nets in exchange for Spencer Dinwiddie, Dorian Finney-Smith, a 2029 first-round pick and two second-round picks (2027, 2029).
