Before all 30 NBA teams converge in Las Vegas for the NBA 2K24 Summer League, the Jazz hosted the Salt Lake City Summer League.

The four-day summer league saw the jazz square off against the Grizzles, Thunder and 76ers at the Delta Center, with 2022 No. 2 overall pick Chet Holmgren headlining the showcase in his first games for the Thunder after a year on the sidelines.

Monday, July 3

Grizzlies 94, 76ers 92

Leading scorers: Kenny Lofton Jr. — 21 PTS, Vince Williams Jr. — 19 PTS

The Grizzlies got their Summer League campaign off to a winning start, with second-year wing David Roddy coming up clutch, giving them the lead for good with the driving layup with 9.3 seconds to go. 

He finished with 18 points, four rebounds, and two assists in the win. 

Thunder 95, Jazz 85

Leading scorers: Jalen Williams — 21 PTS, Tre Mann — 20 PTS

In his first game in a year, Chet Holmgren showed flashes of what the Thunder can expect this season, with a solid outing on the defensive end, recording a game-high four blocks in 29 minutes.  

None better than this two-handed swat at the rim. 

He added 15 points, nine rebounds and two assists in the win.  

Wednesday, July 5

Grizzlies 94, Thunder 86

Leading scorers: Jake LaRavia — 25 PTS, Tre Mann — 28 PTS

The Grizzlies held off the Thunder's second-half comeback thanks to a strong performance from second-year forward Jake LaRavia, who scored a team-high 25 points on 4-of-9 shooting from deep. 

With Jalen Williams rested, Tre Mann led the charge for OKC with 28 points, while Chet Holmgren impressed in his second outing in Summer League with 10 points, 11 rebounds, and three blocks — showing off his length to deny this 3-point attempt! 

76ers 104, Jazz 94

Leading scorers: Javonte Smart — 19 PTS, Luka Samanic — 19 PTS

The Summer Sixers cruised past the Jazz for their first win of Summer League behind 19 points from Javonte Smart. Jaden Springer added 18 points and six assists, while Ricky Council IV chipped in 14 points and had one of the plays game with this emphatic one-handed slam. 

Thursday, July 6

Thunder 100, 76ers 91

Leading scorers: Tre Mann — 23 PTS, Ousmane Dieng — 22 PTS

Tre Mann continued his impressive Summer League campaign with a team-high 23 points, but it was all about 2022 No. 11 pick Ousmane Dieng, who stuffed the stat sheet with 22 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, and three steals on 10-of-12 shooting.

Jazz 98, Grizzlies 83

Leading scorers: Ochai Agbaji — 22 PTS, GG Jackson II — 23 PTS

The Jazz picked up their first win of the Summer thanks to a highlight-filled performance from second-year guard Ochai Agbaji, who filled it up with 23 points, 13 rebounds, and four assists. 

When is the Salt Lake City NBA Summer League?
