The 2022 NBA Draft is here.

After a process that included numerous declarations, the draft lottery, draft combine and a series of month's worth of workouts conducted by all 30 teams, 58 NBA hopefuls will hear their names called.

This year's draft will be intriguing from the very beginning, as Auburn's Jabari Smith, Gonzaga's Chet Holmgren and Duke's Paolo Banchero have each been considered worthy of the No. 1 overall pick.

NBA Draft day trades

  • According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Knicks will trade Ousmane Dieng, the No. 11 pick in the draft to the Thunder in exchange for multiple future picks.
  • According to multiple reports, the Hornets will trade Jalen Duren, the No. 13 pick in the draft to the Pistons, who will also acquire Kemba Walker from the Knicks. The Knicks receive a first-round pick in the 2025 NBA Draft (via the Bucks) while the Hornets receive a first-round pick in 2023 and multiple future second-round picks.
  • Wojnarowski reports that the Grizzlies will acquire Jake LaRavia, the No. 19 overall pick from the Timberwolves, who acquire picks Nos. 22 and 29 as well as a future second-round pick.
  • Wojnarowski reports that the No. 26 pick is being rerouted from the Mavericks to the Rockets to the Timberwolves. In return, the Rockets will receive the No. 29 pick and two future second-round picks.
  • According to Wojnarowski, the Hornets will acquire Bryce McGowens, the No. 40 pick in the draft, in exchange for two future second-round picks.
  • Wojnarowski reports that the Warriors sent the No. 51 pick in the draft and $2 million to the Hawks in exchange for the No. 44 overall pick, which was used to select Ryan Rollins.
