It didn't take long for Kyrie Irving and the Mavericks to iron out a new deal.

Less than an hour after the official start of free agency, Irving reached an agreement with the Mavs, according to Bleacher Report's Chris Haynes.

The All-Star guard was reportedly expected to meet with multiple teams on Friday, but he eliminated any speculation about his status by quickly re-signing with Dallas.

Kyrie Irving contract details

Irving has signed a three-year, $126 million contract with the Mavericks, per multiple reports. The deal includes a player option for the third season.

As of Friday evening, there are no details on how much money Irving will make each season, but the contract has an average annual value of $42 million.
