What is Khris Middleton's injury?

Middleton left the Bucks' loss to the Rockets on Dec. 11 with what was ruled as a sprained left ankle.

Middleton saw five minutes of playing time in the first quarter before exiting the game for the locker room. He was back on the floor for the beginning of the second quarter before being subbed out with 10:27 remaining in the second quarter. The Bucks would then rule him out for the game.

After the game, Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer declined to offer an update on Middleton before checking with the medical team, alluding to the fact that it could be something other than the ankle.

"He should be fine," Budenholzer said, per Jim Owczarski of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. "It's a couple of very minor things. Hopefully, he'll be fine."

Since returning from injury, Middleton is averaging 11.0 points, 4.6 assists and 2.4 rebounds but is shooting just 34.6 percent from the field and 26.9 percent from 3-point range.
