Did Warriors' Jordan Poole take a good shot? Steve Kerr, Draymond Green and more react after loss vs. Lakers image

Jordan Poole's shot selection was the big talking point coming out of the Warriors' 117-112 loss to the Lakers in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

With 17 seconds left and the Warriors trailing by three points, Stephen Curry brought the ball up and was quickly double-teamed. Curry passed it to Draymond Green, who fired it over to Poole.

The 23-year-old guard immediately let it fly with 10 seconds still left on the clock, missing wide left. The Lakers recovered the rebound off the deep 3-pointer, effectively ending Tuesday night's game.

NBA community reacts to Jordan Poole's shot in Game 1 of Lakers vs. Warriors

The reactions to Poole's shot were mixed. Tyrese Haliburton was roasted by Channing Frye for defending Poole.

Steve Kerr was in favor of the shot, saying that Poole was "wide open."

Green commented on the shot on his podcast right after the game.

"Quite frankly, I like the shot," Green said. "Obviously, you tell him to eat up the space and take [the shot] a little bit closer. ... Jordan can shoot the ball, and he got a good look at it."

The "Inside the NBA" crew was decidedly against the shot.

Curry's body language after the shot wasn't great.

And, of course, NBA Twitter fired off plenty of jokes.

This wasn't the first time that Poole took a questionable 3-pointer at the end of a game. He missed a similar shot against the Suns during the regular season.

Should Warriors coach Steve Kerr have called a timeout?

There was plenty of criticism for Kerr as well. The Warriors had two timeouts remaining when Poole took his shot, and many questioned whether Kerr should have used one to draw up a play for Curry.

Kerr did use one of those two timeouts with two seconds left and the Warriors down by five. Green then airballed a 3-pointer, and the team's last timeout went unused.

Did Snoop Dogg predict the outcome of Game 1?

Snoop Dogg was on ESPN's "First Take" on Tuesday before Game 1 and foreshadowed the ending of the game. It's a safe bet that he was rooting for Poole to take that shot.

"We're gonna be probably doubling Steph, and somebody else is gonna be open," Snoop Dogg said. "Jordan Poole, keep shooting. I like the way you've been missing, brother."
