It's almost impossible to avoid it at this point, and it's driving fans nuts.
Chet Holmgren and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander starred in an AT&T commercial during college basketball's March Madness. It's May now, and the advertisement continues to run.
The two Thunder stars sing a remixed version of Christina Aguilera's song, "What A Girl Wants," swapping "girl" for "pro." "What a pro wants, what a pro needs" became a catchy tune when first introduced during the NCAA Tournament, but fans have considerably changed their opinion on the melody.
No matter what playoff game they watch, Holmgren and Gilgeous-Alexander seem to appear. And the numbers back it up as well. Since debuting in March, the ad has been played over 1,500 times, including 473 times in the opening week of May. Fans watching NBA games have been exposed to it 106 times in that frame, while hockey viewers have seen it 212 times during NHL playoffs.

Chet Holmgren and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander AT&T commercial
AT&T had a star-studded lineup of commercials during March Madness that featured Gilgeous-Alexander, Holmgren, Jalen Brunson, Carmelo Anthony and Draymond Green, among others.
Holmgren and Gilgeous-Alexander's ad has stuck around longer than the others, and fans are sick of seeing the Thunder duo during a commercial break. After the two finish singing their parody of Aguilera's hit song, Gilgeous-Alexander says, "Good. Little bit flat, but you'll get better" to his teammate.
"What a Fan Wants" is for the duo to stop singing altogether.
It's not just fans that are tired of the tune, either. Holmgren, who was familiar with Aguilera's song prior to filming the ad, can't listen to the original anymore.
"I had to sing that for so many takes that the rhythm of it kind of got old to me, so I can't listen to it anymore," Holmgren told PEOPLE.

Who is in AT&T's "What a Pro Wants" commercial?
The AT&T commercial has infiltrated the NHL playoffs, too, which may leave some hockey fans confused as to who these two athletes are.
Holmgren and Gilgeous-Alexander are two of the Thunder's top players and are on No. 1 seed in the Western Conference. They helped lead the Thunder to a 57-25 record.
Gilgeous-Alexander is a finalist for the NBA MVP award along with Luka Doncic and Nikola Jokic. He averaged 30.1 points, 6.2 assists and 5.5 rebounds per game across 75 games this season. Holmgren is a finalist for Rookie of the Year along with Victor Wembanyama and Brandon Miller.
The advertisement began during March Madness and has been airing through both the NBA and NHL playoffs. How long it lasts in rotation is unknown, but fans are hoping it doesn't last much longer.
