In Los Angeles, the stars shine bright both on and off the basketball court. You never know who you might see courtside for a Lakers game at Crypto.com Arena.
Since the franchise moved to LA, 34 members of the Basketball Hall of Fame have suited up in the purple and gold. Cheering them on have been a number of A-listers from the world of entertainment, including a number of award-winning actors, musicians, models, and more.
To be a superfan is one thing, but to be a famous superfan is another — the Lakers have plenty of those. So much so that fans of other NBA franchises make their presence known with floor seats at Crypto.
Who are the Lakers' celebrity fans? Below, find a list of courtside mainstays at Hollywood's biggest NBA basketball attraction.

Celebrity Lakers fans
Jason Bateman
Bateman was born in New York but moved to California at an early age. He was present at the Lakers' closeout victory over the Grizzlies and it was pretty clear where his loyalties lie.
Ice Cube
Cube's loyalty to the Lakers stems from his Los Angeles roots. He's passed that fanhood down to his son, actor O'Shea Jackson Jr., who has become one of #NBATwitter's well-known Lakers representatives.
Leonardo DiCaprio
DiCaprio was born and raised in Los Angeles and once he broke through as an iconic actor, it became common to see him courtside at Lakers games. In his younger days, DiCaprio would be one to wear a Lakers cap to games, but when he showed up courtside at the 2023 NBA Playoffs, opted for more subdued headwear.
Snoop Dogg
A native of Long Beach, Calif., Snoop is undoubtedly one of the Lakers' biggest fans. His presence on the sideline in LA dates back beyond the three-peat during the Shaq & Kobe era.
If he's not courtside, you can probably find Snoop on social media cheering on the Lakers or pleading for them to perform better.
Dr. Dre
California Love. The Compton, Calif. native has been courtside supporting the Lakers as recently as their closeout Game 6 win over the Grizzlies in the opening round.
Flea
The Red Hot Chili Peppers' bassist might be the most rabid celebrity fan of the Lakers. Flea is a Lakers season ticket holder and has performed the Star-Spangled Banner at games, most notably during Kobe Bryant's final game in 2016.

Rob Lowe
Not to be confused with Lakers GM Rob Pelinka, Lowe is one of the original Lakers celebrity superfans, with his fandom dating back to the "Showtime" era of the 1980s.
Lowe, who can still be spotted at Lakers games, was featured in the franchise's Hulu documentary and claims to have traveled with the team at times during the 80s before being barred by Pat Riley.
Jack Nicholson
Right alongside Lowe was Nicholson, who just might be THE original celebrity Lakers fan.
As LA's brand was becoming global thanks to the ownership of Jerry Buss and the play of superstars Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Magic Johnson, Nicholson was there every step of the way. Nicholson was not present for years before re-emerging courtside in the 2023 NBA Playoffs.
Shannon Sharpe
Sharpe's Laker fandom derives from his LeBron fandom, but at the end of the day, it all looks the same. As a media pundit, Sharpe's word has made it to opposing teams, making for a first-of-its-kind rivalry between Sharpe and the Grizzlies during the 2022-23 season.
