The Answer now lives on forever in Philadelphia.
The 76ers have long respected the legends of the game that have sported their team's logo. The latest player to receive such a tribute is Allen Iverson, the former point guard who became a fan favorite in the City of Brotherly Love.
The team unveiled a statue of Iverson outside of its practice facility in Camden, N.J. He is the 10th player to be honored with a sculpture.

"Allen Iverson is one of the greatest 76ers to ever live and one of the most iconic players in the history of the NBA," 76ers owners Josh Harris and David Blitzer said in a release. "Paying homage to the legends who paved the way for our franchise is not only the right thing to do; it’s an incredible source of inspiration for current and future generations of 76ers players and staff who enter our Training Complex every day, as well as kids in the city of Philadelphia and at large."
Iverson played 12 seasons with the 76ers during his time in the NBA. He earned the 1997 NBA Rookie of the Year and won league MVP in 2001. The undersized guard finished his career as one of the greatest 76ers to play, as he is top-five in franchise history in points, field goals made, minutes played, steals, assists, free throws made and three pointers.

While the statue itself is a well-earned honor, the size of the piece of art has people buzzing. Here is more to know about the Iverson statue.
Allen Iverson statue size
The 76ers unveiled the statue of Iverson Friday in a ceremony that had the legend himself in attendance, along with numerous friends, family and fans.
At first glance, the statue of Iverson appears to be on the shorter side. It is not nearly as big as some of the other statues seen outside of NBA stadiums and practice facilities, such as the Lakers' recent sculpture for Kobe Bryant.

The reveal caused an initial uproar online as fans were quick to poke fun at the size of the sculpture. However, the dimensions of the statue aren't anything to get worked up about.
Iverson's statue is the latest addition to the 76ers' Legend Walk, which also features former Philadelphia greats such as Wilt Chamberlain, Charles Barkley and Julius Irving. As you can see below, all the sculptures are similar sizes and shapes.

Iverson and his family did not seem concerned about the size of the piece of the art. Barkley wasn't either in 2019 when Philadelphia unveiled his statue on the row of legends.
This is awesome.
