A battle-tested contender in the UFC’s featherweight division will look to halt a rising star's momentum at UFC Vegas 63. Calvin Kattar and Arnold Allen compete inside the UFC’s APEX Center on October 29.
Making his pro debut in 2007, Kattar joined the UFC in 2017. Kattar is 7-4 with the promotion and has been in wars against the likes of Max Holloway, Giga Chikadze, and Josh Emmett. In his last bout in June, Kattar lost to Emmett via a controversial split decision scoring.
Making his pro debut in 2012, Allen joined the UFC in 2015. He has won eleven fights in a row, nine of them inside the octagon. Allen's last fight was a TKO win over Dan Hooker in March.
Kattar is ranked fifth in the UFC's featherweight rankings, while Allen is sixth. With champion Alexander Volkanovski interested in lightweight gold, this might be their chance to prove they should be on the top of the list for a title shot (whether regular or interim).
