Heading into UFC 287, Alex Pereira and Israel Adesanya are looking for multiple ways to outdo each other. Pre-fight training sessions are where the extra work gets put in. It will look to all pay off when the two clash for Pereira’s UFC middleweight title on April 8.

UFC 287 will be inside the Miami-Dade Arena, airing on ESPN+ PPV in the U.S.

Pereira, 35, competed in kickboxing from 2012-2021. Initially joining the MMA world around 2015-2016, Pereira returned to action in 2020 and is 4-0 in the UFC. Though he has limited experience inside the octagon, "Poatan" has a good team behind him, with former light heavyweight champion Glover Teixeira leading the way.

Thanks to Teixeira, Pereira has been working with another light heavyweight great, Chuck Liddell. The trio study tactics and go over techniques as Pereira attempts to go 4-0 against Adesanya.
