World Baseball Classic bracket 2023: Full schedule, times, TV channels for every WBC game image

After two weeks, the World Baseball Classic final is set, and it's between two baseball superpowers.

Team USA will take on Samurai Japan on Tuesday, as the United States looks for its second straight WBC win and Japan seeks its first since 2009. Japan finished in third in the past two Classics, so it's looking to reclaim its spot at the top.

The semifinals were fun for the winners for different reasons. There was the United States' "never-in-doubt" victory over Cuba on Sunday. Then there was Japan's thrilling walk-off win over Mexico on Monday.

The pitching matchup will be Merrill Kelly vs. Yu Darvish. With each team a game away, expect both starters to have short leashes against the vaunted lineups they'll be facing. The United States' order has truly found its stride, particularly Mike Trout and Trea Turner. Japan, meanwhile, has an order brimming with NPB talent, including the hero of the Mexico game Munetaka Murakami and Shohei Ohtani, for whom it is becoming impossible to argue against as the best baseball player in the world.

World Baseball Classic 2023 bracket

The 2023 World Baseball Classic doesn't have a traditional "bracket" format. Rather, it used round-robin play, with the top two teams in each pool advancing to the quarterfinals. The top two finishers in Pools A and B played in the Tokyo Dome, while the first two finishers in Pools C and D played at loanDepot Park in Miami.

The final will be played in loanDepot Park.
