The 2022 FedEx Cup playoffs concluded this weekend with the PGA Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta.

World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler entered Sunday's final round with a six-stroke lead after a solid third round (4-under-par 66). He was paired with Rory McIlroy, who put himself into contention with a blistering 7-under 63 in Round 3.

Eventually, McIlroy closed the gap as Scheffler faltered, and their head-to-head turned into a thrilling duel. The Northern Ireland star took the lead on 16 and then held on for a one-stroke victory and his third FedEx Cup title.

The Sporting News tracked the latest scoring updates from the PGA Tour Championship 2022.
