LIV Golf will be making its long-anticipated debut in London this weekend, as the Saudi-backed tour hosts its first event.

The operation has dealt with a number of hurdles to get itself started, including difficulty in luring top talent from the PGA Tour due to the tour's strict policies against competing in other leagues.

Former Open Championship winner Greg Norman has staked his entire reputation on the league, repeatedly stumping for it and bemoaning the stranglehold the PGA Tour has over competitive play.

The league has attracted plenty of big names, with Dustin Johnson and Phil Mickelson among the most famous in the fray. Sergio Garcia and Kevin Na, among others, also made the jump. The field still boasts some skill, although it is top-heavy.
