LIV Golf Bedminster results 2022: Henrik Stenson wins event in wake of Ryder Cup captaincy ousting image

Henrik Stenson was stripped of his Ryder Cup captaincy in July for the opportunity to play in LIV Golf. It's a decision that's working out for him so far.

Stenson took home the LIV Golf win on Sunday, his first tournament and his first victory with the upstart golf circuit.  Following the win, he had jokes, too.

"I guess we can agree, I played like a captain," Stenson said.

Stenson finished the tournament -11, and he was hunted by Matthew Wolff during the round. Wolff finished in second, tied with Dustin Johnson. Johnson and the Aces took the team win, holding off the Majesticks.
