As Tiger Woods' legendary career has slowed, we've seen another young golfer on the rise. His son, Charlie, may not be labeled as the prodigy his father was, but he's certainly shown flashes of greatness.
The father-son pair are competing in their fourth PNC Championship this weekend. They've yet to win the competition but finished second in 2021. It's a tough field this year with a handful of former champions competing in the tournament. Charlie seems to have the X-factor of the Woods duo, though, even though he's a couple of years away from being able do drive anything more advanced than a golf cart.
The Orlando-based competition will be Tiger's second event since returning to golf after surgery in April. Plus, Charlie, a freshman, helped his high school team to a state championship in November.

Tiger Woods children
Charlie is the younger of Woods' two children.
Sam Alexis, Woods' daughter, was born June 18, 2007. She's stayed further out of the spotlight than Charlie, as she's become more interested in soccer than golf. Though, she did pick of a few clubs when she was younger and at one point even caddied for her father.
She gave the introduction to Woods when he was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2022.

Who is Charlie Woods' mom?
Elin Nordegren is the mother of Charlie and Sam.
She married Woods in 2004, three years after they met, but they divorced in 2010 amid the golfer's infidelity scandals. Nevertheless, they've split custody of their children and manage to co-parent.
