After Austin, Texas delivered the action last time out, this weekend Formula One heads south for the 2023 Mexican Grand Prix at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez.

With it comes a chance for Max Verstappen to smash yet another record as the newly re-crowned world drivers' champion goes in search of a 16th race win of the season.

He set the record at 15 last year but this time around, the Dutchman and Red Bull have crushed their opposition even harder.

Last weekend, Lewis Hamilton ran him close though. The British driver was eventually disqualified due to a car issue surrounding its plank but even so, the German constructors recent upgrades have definitely closed the gap to their rivals.

McLaren too continue to impress with Lando Norris claiming a fourth consecutive podium finish last weekend. Beside him, his rookie teammate Oscar Piastri is also putting together a campaign to remember and will be looking forward to this weekend after being forced to DNF with a car issue in Austin.

George Russell, Carlos Sainz and Leclerc still lurk too, as does Verstappen's teammate Sergio Perez who will be incredibly eager to impress this weekend in front of his home crowd.
