Giovanni van Bronckhorst has received a lot of praise since taking over as Rangers manager.
The Dutchman guided Rangers to the Europa League final, where suffered penalty heartbreak against Eintracht Frankfurt following a 1-1 draw.
Although Rangers missed out on the Scottish Premiership title to Celtic, Van Bronckhorst has made a major impact since his arrival, and he will now be looking to win his first trophy as the club's manager in Saturday's Scottish Cup final against Hearts.
When was Giovanni van Bronckhorst hired?
Rangers hired Van Bronckhorst on November 18 2021 as a replacement for Steven Gerrard, who left Ibrox to take charge of Aston Villa. It marked a return to Rangers for Van Bronckhorst, who represented the club as a player between 1998 and 2001.

What is Giovanni van Bronckhorst's record as Rangers manager?
Van Bronckhorst's record since taking charge of Rangers is very impressive. He has been in charge for 40 matches, with Rangers winning 27, drawing eight and losing five.
During that time Rangers have scored 83 goals and have conceded 31 times.
Where else has Giovanni van Bronckhorst managed?
Van Bronckhorst commenced his coaching career at another of his former clubs, Feyenoord. From 2011 he worked as an assistant coach before stepping up to manage the team in 2015.
During his time as Feyenoord manager, Van Bronckhorst won the Eredivisie title in the 2016/17 campaign, while he also oversaw two KNVB Cup successes.
After leaving Feyenoord in 2019, he then took charge of Chinese Super League side Guangzhou R & F. However, Van Bronckhorst's spell in Asia didn't go to plan as his side finished 11th in his first season before leaving so that he could return to his family.

Who did Giovanni van Bronckhorst play for?
A product of Feyenoord's academy, Van Bronckhorst made over 100 appearances during his initial spell with the Dutch club and won the KNVB Cup in 1995. He also had a spell on loan at RKC Waalwijk in the 1993/94 season.
In 1998 Van Bronckhorst joined Rangers and he went on to score 22 goals for the club. He won two titles, two Scottish Cups and one Scottish League Cup.
Van Bronckhorst then signed for Arsenal in 2001, but a cruciate knee ligament injury halted his progress. He still played a part in the Gunners' double-winning campaign of 2001/02 and also won the FA Cup the following season.
After initially joining Barcelona on loan in 2003, he made the move permanent in 2004. By this stage of his career Van Bronckhorst was mainly seen as a left-back having previously been a midfielder.
He won the Champions League in 2006, and also won two La Liga titles.
Van Bronckhorst finished his career by returning to Feyenoord and he went on to win another KNVB Cup before retiring in 2010.
On the international front, Van Bronckhorst earned 106 caps for Holland, for whom he scored six times. He captained the team following the retirement of Edwin van der Sar, and retired from playing after the defeat to Spain in the final of the 2010 World Cup.
