England's often unconvincing run through Euro 2024 sees them take on the Netherlands at the semifinal stage.
The Three Lions looked solid if unspectacular in opening their Group C campaign with a 1-0 victory over Serbia to start their push for glory on a positive note and followed up with a tepid 1-1 draw with Denmark on June 20.
Things didn't get any better in a tame 0-0 draw with Slovenia on June 25, in which they were booed off by England fans but still managed to top the group.
And they came within a minute of going out of the tournament against Slovakia in the Round of 16, until Jude Bellingham scored a wonder overhead kick and then Harry Kane got the winner to settle it 2-1.
Against Switzerland in the quarterfinals, they again found themselves a goal behind before Bukayo Saka scored a brilliant equaliser. Eventually, they progressed on penalties after Manuel Akanji missed the only one of the eight spot-kicks taken in the shootout.
Gareth Southgate's side fell just short in the final of Euro 2020, as they suffered penalty heartbreak against Roberto Mancini's Italy at Wembley. And despite bowing out at the quarterfinal stage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, confidence began high at the start of this tournament that England would be amongst the favorites for glory in Germany, with a squad packed with major talent.
The Sporting News looks at the key details ahead of their next game, including how to watch it across the world, kickoff time and the latest lineup news.
