Real Madrid will be aiming to close in on the La Liga title as they host Athletic Club on March 31.

Los Blancos headed into the international break with an eight-point title lead over second place Barcelona and Carlo Ancelotti will be looking to secure another Spanish crown in the coming weeks.

If Real Madrid can secure the La Liga trophy with games to spare, Ancelotti will be able to switch focus to the UEFA Champions League, ahead of facing Manchester City in the quarterfinals next month.

Visitors Athletic Club are in the running for a Champions League spot for next season and they currently hold the edge over Atletico Madrid in the top-four race.

Jude Bellingham is back for Real Madrid following his two-match La Liga suspension and will start for the home side. Another knee injury means Thibaut Courtois' season is over and Eduardo Camavinga and Eder Militao are both set to miss out.
