Manchester City, now considered Premier League title favourites, welcome West Ham to the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday for a clash with implications at both ends of the table.
City have two games in hand on Arsenal, and will look to cash in on one of those to claim the advantage atop the table.
Additionally, Erling Haaland needs just one goal to set a new Premier League single-season goalscoring record, having equalled the mark with his penalty against Fulham, which was his 50th strike this season across all competitions.
Pep Guardiola's men take on a West Ham side who are edging towards safety but are still definitely in the mix. The Hammers sit on 34 points, four above the drop zone, with Leicester City, Leeds United, and Nottingham Forest all level on 30.

Man City vs West Ham projected lineups & team news
For Man City, health has been one of their biggest assets all season long in the Premier League title race. The only two injury issues are to Nathan Ake and Kevin de Bruyne, and both seem set for a return soon.
De Bruyne missed the Fulham match due to a knock sustained in the win over Arsenal, and while he could miss out against West Ham, it feels likely he returns by next week's Champions League games. Ake, meanwhile, is back in training after a hamstring injury kept him sidelined for about a month and could return here.
Man City projected starting lineup (3-2-4-1): Ederson (GK) — Walker, Dias, Akanji — Stones, Rodri — Mahrez, Alvarez, Gundogan, Grealish — Haaland.
🗣️ Pep Guardiola: Kevin started to move but didn't train with the team yesterday. We have training in a few hours, we will see how he feels...

The Hammers are also quite healthy for this point in the season. Just Kurt Zouma and Gianluca Scamacca are sidelined with injuries.
Unlike Man City, however, those two players are likely out for some extended time. Zouma suffered a sprained ankle early in the loss to Crystal Palace last time out and will miss a few weeks, while new signing Scamacca will be sidelined for the rest of the season after knee surgery to correct a lingering problem.
West Ham projected starting lineup (5-3-2): Fabianski (GK) — Coufal, Kehrer, Aguerd, Ogbonna, Cresswell — Soucek, Rice, Paqueta — Bowen, Antonio.
Man City vs West Ham betting odds & lines
Man City, as newly minted title favourites, have a huge advantage in this match, according to the oddsmakers. The injury to Kevin de Bruyne doesn't seem to faze the betting market, with City still given odds of 1/5 to win.
There are also goals expected, given City's attacking prowess and West Ham's defensive struggles. The Hammers have three clean sheets over the last month, but they've also shipped five goals to Newcastle and four to Crystal Palace, plus conceding multiple goals to Liverpool and Arsenal.
