Liverpool welcome Toulouse to Anfield on Thursday evening for their Europa League clash in Group E.

Jurgen Klopp's men have won both of their games in the competition this season with victories against LASK and Union Saint-Gilloise.

Toulouse are in second in the group behind the Reds with four points after they most recently beat LASK and were held to a draw against Union SG.

Another three points for Liverpool would see them all but qualified for the knockout stages, while it would put them in pole position to finish top of the group.

The teams that finish first in their Europa League group earn themselves a bye to the Round of 16 in the new year. Second-placed teams must compete in a playoff fixture against those who drop down from the Champions League.

Liverpool vs Toulouse lineups & team news

The notable absentee for Liverpool is Andy Robertson, who recently underwent shoulder surgery following an injury sustained during the international break.

On the positive side, Cody Gakpo could return after sitting out the last three games due to a knee problem. However, Thiago Alcantara and Stefan Bajcetic are doubtful, and Ben Doak is also unlikely to feature.

Liverpool predicted starting lineup (4-3-3): Alisson (GK) — Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Konate, Tsimikas — Endo, Gravenberch, Jones — Elliott, Jota, Nunez.

Toulouse face injury concerns of their own. Zakaria Aboukhlal and Oliver Zanden are sidelined, and it seems the game will come too soon for Ibrahim Cissoko's return. On a brighter note, Stijn Spierings is back in contention after serving a suspension, and Logan Costa is also available for selection.

Toulouse predicted starting lineup (4-1-4-1): Restes (GK) — Desler, Costa, Nicolaisen, Suazo — Spierings — Donnum, Schmidt, Casseres, Cesar Gelabert — Dallinga
