Widespread reports of Reynolds buying a home in the village of Marford have claimed the house is the 'poshest in the village's main street' and just over 10km from Wrexham.

The village is renowned for its gothic architecture with reports from the Daily Mirror claiming the 2,500 residents of the village are delighted by the prospect of a Hollywood A-lister moving in.

The home will be a base for Reynolds, his wife Blake Lively, and their four children on visits to the UK, with the 46-year-old keen to keep a close eye on his club.

Average house prices in the village are set at around £479,600/$597,000, however, Reynolds' home in Marford is rumoured to be valued at £1.5m/$1.87m.
