With six Premier League goals already to his name this season it seems that Manchester City's Erling Haaland is going from strength to strength in the competition.
Last season he hit an astonishing 36 goals for the Citizens as they claimed another English top-flight title. That tally broke the record for the most goals ever scored in a single Premier League campaign by a player, whilst it saw him finish six goals ahead of closet competition Harry Kane in the charts.
Kane has since left for the Bundesliga and Bayern Munich and when removing him from last season's charts, the Norwegian talisman almost scored double the amount of goals as Brentford's Ivan Toney (20).
For that reason, we're going to look at the market for the Premier League top scorer this season not including Haaland.

Premier League top goalscorer odds without Erling Haaland
Mo Salah (7/2 at BetOnSports)
After scoring twice in Liverpool's opening four Premier League matches of the season, Mo Salah is the bookmakers' favourite to be the league's top scorer after Haaland.
The famous Egyptian winger looked like he might potentially move to Saudi Arabia this summer but after the Reds rejected a record bid for their under contract star, he looks keen to do his talking on the pitch.
To this point in his career, Salah has won the Golden Boot award in the competition on three separate occasions and will fancy his chances of a fourth this campaign despite Haaland's recent emergence.
Son Heung-min (8/1 at BetOnSports)
After netting a stunning hat-trick against Burnley at Turf Moor just prior to the recent international break, Tottenham captain Son Heung-min is now the second favourite in this market.
The South Korean star has previously won the Golden Boot in 2021/22 and will hope that even despite the loss of Kane at Spurs, he can find the back of the net even more times this campaign.
Darwin Nunez & Julian Alvarez (10/1 at BetOnSports)
Two of the Premier League's newer stars are currently tied for third spot as Liverpool's Darwin Nunez and Manchester City's Julian Alvarez look to play a major part in their side's campaigns this time around.
After netting a brace off the bench vs. Newcastle, Nunez showcased his elite finishing which has catapulted his name up the list.
Likewise, Alvarez has also made a strong start to this season, scoring twice through four appearances as Man City chase yet another Premier League title in 2023/24.
