The Professional Footballers' Association Awards took place on August 29th at the Lowry Theatre in Manchester.
Erling Haaland's record-breaking debut season saw him win the award for 2022/23 and Rachel Daly's super campaign with Aston Villa saw her named the PFA Player of the Year.
Bukayo Saka became the first Arsenal player since Jack Wilshere to win the Young Players' Player of the Year and Lauren James was also named the Young Players' Player of the Year.

Who has won the most PFA Player of the Year awards?
There are a number of players to have won the men's Player of the Year award twice, however, no player has three awards to their name.
Mark Hughes, Alan Shearer, Thierry Henry, Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, Kevin De Bruyne and Mohamed Salah have won the award on two occasions, and only Henry, Ronaldo and De Bruyne have won the award in consecutive seasons.

What are the PFA Awards?
It is an annual award ceremony where the player who is adjudged to have been the best of the year in English football is recognised for their performances.
The winner is chosen by a vote amongst the members of the players' trade union which is the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA).
