Manchester City welcome Liverpool to the Etihad for what is simply one of the biggest games of the 2021-22 Premier League season.
With only a point separating these two rivals at the top of the table, the game at the Etihad is a vital moment for both sides as they jockey for position. There will be just seven matches remaining in the season after Sunday.
The previous game between the heavyweights was one of the classic games of the season, ending 2-2 at Anfield. The match saw Premier League leading scorer Mohamed Salah score one of the goals of the season.
Even if Liverpool win and complete the comeback to take over first place from the reigning champions, the Reds have a difficult run of matches to close out the season. Jurgen Klopp's side has won 10 straight league matches and is the hotter of the two teams, but Man City look to be rounding back into form for the stretch run with three wins from their last four in the league.

Manchester City vs Liverpool lineups
Manchester City have almost a full squad to choose from; the key absence will be center back Ruben Dias, who has been one of their most important players in the last year. Kyle Walker, who was out suspended from Champions League play, will be a welcome return.
Pep Guardiola's choices, as usual, came down to the attack. He went with Gabriel Jesus, Phil Foden and Raheem Sterling, leaving Riyad Mahrez and Jack Grealish on the bench.
Manchester City lineup (4-3-3, right to left): 31-Ederson (GK) — 2-Walker, 5-Stones, 14-Laporte, 27-Cancelo — 20-Silva, 16-Rodri, 17-De Bruyne — 9-Jesus, 7-Sterling, 47-Foden
Manchester City subs (9): 13-Steffen (GK), 6-Ake, 11-Zinchenko, 8-Gundogan, 25-Fernandinho, 90-Lavia, 87-McAtee, 10-Grealish, 26-Mahrez
Liverpool came into the game with no real injury concerns and with a stronger squad compared to their last meeting after the January acquisition of Luis Diaz.
Similar to Guardiola, the only question was who Klopp would pick for his front three: He went with the in-form Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Diogo Jota, who figure among the top 5 scorers in the Premier League this season.
Liverpool lineup (4-3-3, right to left): 1-Alisson (GK) — 66-Alexander-Arnold, 32-Matip, 4-Van Dijk, 26-Robertson — 14-Henderson, 3-Fabinho, 6-Thiago — 11-Salah, 20-Jota, 10-Mane
Liverpool subs (9): 62-Kelleher (GK), 12-Gomez, 21-Tsimikas, 5-Konate, 7-Milner, 17-Jones, 23-Diaz, 8-Keita, 9-Firmino

Manchester City vs Liverpool betting odds
Both sides are in imperious form, as Liverpool have won 16 of 17 games in all competitions and City have won six out of their last nine games, only losing once in that stretch.
Of their 13 encounters in all competitions, 10 have gone over 2.5 goals, with nine of them seeing both teams scoring.
With the quality on the pitch, the game could easily be another goal-fest, although with both sides aiming to avoid a loss at all costs, they could potentially settle for a draw depending on how the match plays out.
The pitch will be flooded with players who can decide the match at any point, and it's highly likely we will get goals once again in this star-studded matchup.
