Manchester United will hope to give their slim UEFA Champions League qualification hopes a boost when Everton visit Old Trafford for Saturday's early Premier League game.

Back-to-back defeats to Fulham and Manchester City left the Red Devils 11 points outside the top four with just 11 matches left to play. Their prospects of hauling in Aston Villa (fourth) and Tottenham (fifth) are looking bleak.

Still, a victory this weekend could at least give them some confidence and ease some of the growing pressure on manager Erik ten Hag, whose future in the new era of INEOS' sporting control is looking less clear by the day.

United won the reverse fixture 3-0 and will be confident of completing a double over Everton, who have not won a league game since December 16 and are still mired in a relegation battle despite seeing their points deduction reduced from 10 to six.
