Already slotted into this year's EFL Cup final, Liverpool aim for a run in the FA Cup as they meet Norwich City in the fourth round at Anfield on Sunday.

Normally Jurgen Klopp would have likely taken the opportunity to rotate his lineup, but with so many players injured or unavailable, he's already been dipping deep into the Liverpool squad. 20-year-old Conor Bradley started the 1-1 draw with Fulham midweek and impressed, while Joe Gomez, previously buried on the depth chart, has been revitalized in a left-back position in recent weeks.

With the Reds sitting atop the Premier League table by five points and in the thick of a fierce title fight, Liverpool have a lot on their mind, but a slow January from a league perspective allows them to focus a bit more energy on the knockout competitions.

Norwich City sit eighth in the Championship table, two points shy of the playoff positions and 18 back of the two automatic promotion spots. They have scored goals at a rate up with the best in the league, but remain leaky at the back compared to those around them in the standings.

Liverpool vs Norwich City prediction, odds

  • Moneyline lean: Liverpool (-750)
  • Score prediction: Liverpool 3-1 Norwich City

What Jurgen Klopp is doing this season with Liverpool cannot be understated. He took a club with paper-thin depth just a year ago, and transformed it into one of the most unbeatable sides in Europe, despite a lengthy injury list that continues to drag players into the undertow.

A club whose depth became its undoing just a season ago now boasts depth which has led it to the cusp of silverware. While Norwich City is capable of putting up a fight, it would be a lot to ask for an upset here.

Liverpool vs Norwich City: best bet

  • Pick: Luis Diaz anytime goal scorer
  • Odds: +120 (DraftKings)

While Luis Diaz may sit after heavy minutes played and the birth of his second child on Thursday, the vibes here are just too good to pass up. Diaz scored against Fulham midweek to send Liverpool through to the EFL Cup final and has been critical to Liverpool as they hope to overcome the absence of Mohamed Salah.

If the in-form Diaz plays, with the inspiration of a new baby at his back against the club against whom he scored his first Liverpool goal, there are more than enough reasons to back him as one of the few Liverpool forwards with plus odds in this spot.

Liverpool vs Norwich City prop bet

  • Pick: 2H total corners — Under 5.5
  • Odds: +105 (DraftKings)

For all their attacking intent, Liverpool has moved away from being a consistently vertical team that racks up corners en masse. While they have the third-most corners in the Premier League, they leave most of their vertical play in the first half and look to manage games through the second half. The Reds have 75 first-half corners in Premier League play this season, just three behind leaders Man City, but boast 63 in the second half, which is seventh-most.

Norwich, meanwhile, ranks 13th in the Championship for corners earned. Even if Liverpool put up a big number on the scoresheet, it doesn't mean they will also win corners at a big rate. Their recent 4-0 win over Bournemouth saw them collect just four corners, including two in the second half. Liverpool had one second-half corner against Fulham last time out, one against Arsenal, three against Newcastle, and one against Burnley all since Boxing Day.

In matches with lopsided odds like this, it's necessary to dig deeper to find value, and this is a manageable option with plus odds.
