Lineups, starting 11 for Man United vs Fulham: Omari Forson starts with Rasmus Hojlund out injured image

Manchester United host Fulham at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Saturday.

Erik ten Hag's side are in fine form having kicked off 2024 with an unbeaten run of seven games, six of which have been victories.

Marco Silva's men, on the other hand, have won just one match from their past eight and have not won away from home since the first weekend of the season at Everton.

The Sporting News takes a look at injury news for the two sides ahead of the match and who could be selected in the starting XIs.

Ten Hag has rarely been awarded the luxury of selecting his strongest XI this season and more injury concerns have arisen with Luke Shaw and Rasmus Hojlund ruled out. The Englishman picked up an injury in United's 2-1 win at Luton Town and the Danish striker has suffered a muscular problem.

Victor Lindelof comes in to play at left-back and Omari Forson starts his first game for the club.

Man United (4-2-3-1, right to left): Onana (GK) — Dalot, Maguire, Varane, Lindelof  — Casemiro, Mainoo — Garnacho, Fernandes, Rashford — Forson.

Man United subs (9): Bayindir, Evans, Kambwala, Amrabat, Eriksen, McTominay, Collyer, Amad, Antony.

Fulham are without midfield lynchpin Joao Palhinha, as he begins his two-game ban, after picking up his 10th Premier League yellow card of the season. That came in last weekend's 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa.

Raul Jimenez remains sidelined with a thigh injury but Chelsea loanee Armando Broja has recovered from illness and is on the bench.

Fulham (4-2-3-1 right to left): Leno (GK) — Castagne, Bassey, Tosin, Robinson — Reed, Lukic — Iwobi, Andreas Pereira, Wilson — Muniz.

Fulham subs (9): Rodak, Tete, Ballo, Ream, Diop. Cairney, Broja, Traore, Reid.
